Teacup Terrorist

I have been contemplating all the things I love to drink in summer. Sweet iced tea, frozen frappucino, ice cold lemonade, and Pepsi slushies are just a few of my favorites.

This summer I went back to my childhood and got myself some Kool-Aid… you know, the red kind *lol*. I have been sipping on that for a while now. It’s amazing how I used to slurp this stuff up, but now I only want a small glass.

I am planning to hit up my childhood one more time and buy one of those Hugs drinks, just so I can truly remember those summers at grandmom’s house. I know a store that sells them individually, so I shall be there today…getting my Hug on!!

Okay, so I finally got back around to trying Pepsi, to see if they listened. Apparently, someone figured out that the taste was so close to Coke they could have been kissing cousins. They are back to their regularly scheduled taste-gram and I couldn’t be happier. Cheers!

Pepsi Summer Mix tastes like skittles in a can. That is what my sister-in-law likens it to. She has always enjoyed putting skittles in her Pepsi, so no wonder she could place the taste. I, on the other hand, thought of fruit punch and Pepsi fighting it out as to which flavor would reign supreme. I didn’t like it. She did. There you have it. I would rather drink Holiday Pepsi than this.

Yay. Coca Cola has decided to bring back Vanilla flavor. This only means that Pepsi won’t be too far behind in bringing their Vanilla back as well. I can hardly wait. I have been so sad since they both went off the market. I like Pepsi the best overall, but their vanilla just didn’t touch Coca Cola the first year it was out. I hope that I am not disappointed this year and they don’t change the formula! I hate when they do that.

I have a real obsession with Pepsi. There is no real substitute for cracking open a can and taking the first sip of a Pepsi that is just cold enough to freeze but hasn’t yet. There is no taste or feeling like it..

Of course, there are pretenders and alternatives to drinking Pepsi. One pretty good pretender is Walmart‘s own Sam’s Choice Cola. It’s got a similar bite to it like Pepsi, with an aftertaste that will remind you of Coca-Cola.

SO if you aren’t in the mood for a full blown Pepsi or Coke… or maybe you just happen to be in Walmart and don’t want to pay the price for a name brand, don’t short change the store brand. It’s pleasantly surprising.
