I got my cocoas in the mail yesterday. One is a replenishment for the flavor I already own and love. The other was a brand new flavor *to me*. It’s white chocolate cocoa. You can watch the milk go creamy white as you mix the powder in. The taste is light, almost fluffy. It is a nice mild alternative to the robust chocolate you normally get in cocoa. If you would like to buy some of this cocoa, make sure to click the BocaJava link in my sidebar. Let them know I sent you (kingzjewel [at] yahoo [dot] com)

I have a new coffee to try, too. That is an upcoming review:D

Just last week I picked up two seasonal creamers from the local grocer. One is vanilla caramel brownie and the other is chocolate mint truffle. In coffee or cocoa, they are both divine. I added the mint chocolate to my mint chocolate cocoa and thought I would die of ecstasy. It was so fresh and chocolaty at the same time. It was like drinking an Andes mint. Delicious. As for coffee, I have only added them to non-flavored coffee as of yet. I know that the vanilla will probably do well in my kahlua caramel coffee. Just two flavors to look out for in the store!

You can make nearly any cocoa of practically any quality into the perfect cup of cocoa. It only takes a little know how. The ingredients you need to make it frothy and scrumptious are:

The cocoa *of course*

sugar

mini marshmallows

milk

chocolate syrup

Very important note about cocoa: If you like it thinner, use water. You can use either a mixture of water and milk, milk, or water.

I prefer a more creamy cocoa, so I put in about a tablespoon of chocolate syrup, 2 spoons of sugar, at least 8 ounces of milk. Stir and let that all heat up to nearly boiling. Pour it into a pre-warmed mug. *You can prewarm the mug by running hot water over it for a few seconds*. Then top with a tight layer of mini marshmallows. Allow the marshmallows to melt down to about half capacity and VOILA. The perfect cup of cocoa.

Hint: If you want to add a little kick to your cocoa, add some creme de mint, mint sprigs, cinnamon sticks, or even your favorite fruit.
