You can make nearly any cocoa of practically any quality into the perfect cup of cocoa. It only takes a little know how. The ingredients you need to make it frothy and scrumptious are:
- The cocoa *of course*
- sugar
- mini marshmallows
- milk
- chocolate syrup
Very important note about cocoa: If you like it thinner, use water. You can use either a mixture of water and milk, milk, or water.
I prefer a more creamy cocoa, so I put in about a tablespoon of chocolate syrup, 2 spoons of sugar, at least 8 ounces of milk. Stir and let that all heat up to nearly boiling. Pour it into a pre-warmed mug. *You can prewarm the mug by running hot water over it for a few seconds*. Then top with a tight layer of mini marshmallows. Allow the marshmallows to melt down to about half capacity and VOILA. The perfect cup of cocoa.
Hint: If you want to add a little kick to your cocoa, add some creme de mint, mint sprigs, cinnamon sticks, or even your favorite fruit.

I like how you think!
I also like a lil Kick in my cocoa, rum or even brandy on a cold day, especially after a vigorous bout of snow shoveling and “angel makin”.

I like my cocoa really rich, so I use milk mixed with half and half. Have you ever tried it like that? I also like to whip my own cream for nice fresh whipped cream on top instead of marshmallows sometimes.
